Mindspace Public Relations will Receive a Prestigious Adrian Award

51st Annual Adrian Awards Recognizes Excellence in Travel Marketing

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), the largest and most prestigious travel organization, will recognize Mindspace with a Silver Award for Public Relations excellence for its winning entry at the annual Adrian Awards gala on January 28th in New York City. This year’s contest attracted nearly 1,300 entries from around the world, with entries judged by teams of experts from all sectors of the industry.

The Tempe, Ariz.-based advertising and public relations agency created and implemented a national public relations campaign, “Solstice’s Robb Report Best of the Best Campaign,” on behalf of its client Solstice, the ultra-luxury leader in the destination club industry.

“This award recognizes our eagerness to effectively blend traditional and modern media,” said Cathy Planchard, Public Relations Group Director for Mindspace. “The cutting edge technology of multimedia distribution services allowed the ‘Best of the Best’ campaign to smoothly transition between print, broadcast, and online mediums.”

The award-winning campaign coupled traditional media relations tactics with the latest in wire service technology. The campaign reached 2 million viewers, and received placement in W Magazine, The Arizona Republic, The Sherpa Report, China-based Tyloo Magazine, and CNBC’s On The Money and Closing Bell.

“I am most proud of how we took advantage of new media distribution resources that allowed us to favorably maximize our client’s media exposure to reach a wider, diverse audience,” said Planchard.

HSMAI will pay tribute to Mindspace during the 18th annual HSMAI Adrian Awards Show, which will have an expected attendance of 1,000 hospitality, travel and tourism industry and marketing executives. These awards are handed out as part of the 2007 HSMAI Adrian Awards Competition, the largest and most prestigious travel event of its kind in the world, now in its 51st year.
